A DENTON LEGACY
For more than two decades, The Flying Tomato, later known simply as The Tomato, was a beloved college pizza hangout across from the University of North Texas in Denton. After the original location was lost in the 2007 Fry Street Fire, The Tomato returned to Denton in 2023, bringing back the recipes and flavors generations of locals remembered. Today, The Tomato continues that legacy with locations in Denton and Lewisville, serving pizza by the slice, Chicago-style stuffed pizza, breadsticks, salads and more.
